1.   Christmas/Hanukah: From Thanksgiving to January 15th

2.    Easter, Passover, Kwanza, Halloween: For a 4-week period (3 weeks prior to and 1 week after the start of the holiday).

3.    or other holidays traditionally celebrated in the U.S. (e.g. Independence Day, Memorial Day, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day,): For a 3-week period (2 weeks prior to and 1 week after the start of the holiday).

B.  Decorative items are not permitted anywhere on the exterior except during the holiday periods as outlined above in 15A and only within the following guidelines:

1.   A small holiday-appropriate display on the driveway between the garage doors is permitted and one holiday-appropriate wreath or spray may be hung on/from the garage light between the garage doors. Nothing may be kept in the driveway from November 15th through March 31, for snow removal purposes.

2.   Two live potted plants may be placed on the front porch only and decorated with white lights only during the period outlined in 15A. Colored, blinking or chasing lights are not permitted anywhere.

3.   Holiday appropriate decorations are permitted on the front porch and entry door. This includes garland and white lights. Wreaths or sprays may be hung from the exterior of the windows and doors. However, nothing can be attached to the building (including entry door) using nails, screws, staples, etc. It is recommended that homeowners use fasteners/hooks that can be removed without damaging or leaving a mark on the building.

4.   Electric or battery candles, Menorah fixtures, and lights strung around the windows are permitted from the inside only during the period outlined in #15A.  Colored, blinking or chasing lights are not permitted. No lights are permitted to be strung from the decks.

5.   No lights/decorations may be strung on any outside bushes, trees or on any Common Element. Spotlights, floodlights or landscape lights are not permitted.

6.   Except as provided herein, no decorations may be hung or otherwise affixed to the exterior of any building. Nails, screws, staples, etc. are not permitted.

7.   Any decoration that becomes visibly damaged, worn or otherwise deteriorated is not permitted any time of year. Wreaths or displays that reflect the non-holiday aspect of the season of the year may be displayed during that season on the front door only. Any other seasonal decoration must abide by the restrictions within.
